Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as the defining technology of our time, comparable to the impact of electricity or the internet. It can revolutionize industries and reshape society. An AI channel impact study conducted by IPED shows that 98 percent of channel business leaders are either exploring or actively implementing AI solutions, making it an exciting time for Microsoft Azure partners to engage with clients seeking to harness this technology.
Cyril Belikoff of Microsoft recently spoke with CRNtv about several key AI trends that are reshaping industries today.
An AI Platform Shift
One of the most striking shifts is the movement from small-scale prototypes to large-scale AI deployments across entire organizations. Business leaders are driving this transition, emphasizing the need for broad implementation in areas such as employee productivity, customer experience, and business process optimization, and bending the innovation curve while maintaining a strong focus on security.
Retooling AI Applications
A pivotal element in this evolution is the introduction of Azure AI Foundry. Launched at Ignite, this unified platform equips enterprise clients with the tools necessary to develop, deploy, and manage AI-driven applications seamlessly. With more than 1,800 offerings in Microsoft’s model library, Azure AI Foundry empowers organizations to easily accelerate the journey from AI experimentation to tangible business impact.
AI Best Practices
Microsoft has made strides to create a robust support system for Azure partners through offerings like Azure Essentials. This comprehensive resource consolidates best practices, product experiences, training opportunities, and tailored guidance, enabling organizations to optimize their AI model optimization's reliability, security, and performance. Since skilling remains a significant challenge in the AI arena, Azure Essentials is invaluable in providing partners with the guidance they need to maximize their customers' cloud investments and help them become AI-ready.
AI Economic Value
With these advancements, partners also have the chance to unlock new revenue streams. An IDC research study highlighted a compelling statistic: for every $1 of Microsoft revenue, services-led partners can make nearly nine times that amount, and software-led partners can generate over 10 times. This presents an incredible opportunity for Azure partners to boost revenue and margin growth.
Partners-First Strategy
Microsoft's dedication to being a partner-first company sets it apart as the best cloud provider for AI solutions. Whether it's Copilot, Copilot + PCs, or the Copilot AI stack based on Azure and developer tools, Microsoft has the depth and breadth of technologies to help partners and their customers with their AI journey. The company emphasizes the importance of broad infrastructure investment and long-term investments in R&D, ensuring that partners are equipped with cutting-edge tools and support to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.
